Drummit was dreamt up by Keith Bartlett and rocket launched by Tim Parkin, Adam Sutcliffe & Tom Piggott.
Keith studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and since then has pursued a highly successful career, both as a performer and, more recently, as an educator/composer for drums and percussion.
He spent over 20 years as percussion tutor at the Royal College of Music, Junior Department and currently holds teaching posts at Winchester College, Canford School and Bradfield College.
As a composer Keith has over 50 books to his name with his pieces being widely represented on many of the UK’s major examinations boards including The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity.
Well known for his fun, approachable and effective style, Keith has designed DRUMMIT to appeal to players of all levels, improving, not only his/her technical and reading skills, but also increasing their knowledge and awareness of many of today’s most popular and important drumming styles.
Tim started playing the drums when he was eight. He got a taste for annoying the neighbours quickly, and has been a keen enthusiast since then (although is more considerate these days). He studied philosophy at York University, and naturally started working in marketing in London after that, after a brief stint as a teacher.
In his spare time he can be found cycling through remote areas of the country, attempting to cook ambitious dishes and, since lockdown started, swinging (and missing) at golf balls.
Adam has been playing drums since he was 13. He’s performed with his band Meansteed all over the uk for the last 12 years.
With a degree in software engineering from Westminster University Adam has worked on a host of games and brain training apps over the years.
When not coding Adam can be found at the local skatepark or making pizza 🍕
Tom is a keen guitarist and former song writer for Passport to Stockholm. Unfortunately Tom knows absolutely nothing about drumming and can't play a beat to save his life. He is currently learning piano, badly.
Tom graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA in Graphic Design in 2008. Since then he has worked as a Magazine Designer, HTML Email Coder, Brand Designer, Motion Designer and is now a UI Designer and Webflow Developer.
When he's not in front of a Mac or an instrument, he teaches HIIT and TRX fitness classes at his wife's studio; Clifford Studios.
